The big news around these parts is that I've started to feel the baby move! It all began about a week to a week and a half ago... I thought I felt something a bit funny but being a typical nurse, felt I had not collected enough information yet for "diagnosis". Well... I felt it a few more times here and there but over this past weekend while laying in bed, realized it was happening for longer periods of time. I decided- that's it! Sunday night when I came home I told Mike the news. What was even cooler was Mike was able to feel it when he put his hand on my stomach! Pretty exciting stuff!
Otherwise, Mike and I have been busy bees around here. We went Killington for several days with a group of friends a couple weekends ago. Although I could not snowboard, it was a relaxing weekend and Mike got in several good days out on the slope! This past weekend, I went home to CT and then down to LI for one of the 'Nova girls bridal shower- which was great to see all my college girlfriends including the bride to be of course! and also Kerri who is due with the first Villanova baby in May!! Mike got in some more snowboarding up at Smuggler's Notch in VT. Next up is our warm sunny vacation to Miami! It's our first tropical "vacation" just the two of us since our honeymoon! I am dying to get some Vitamin D. Of course we will also be watching March Madness while we are there!
When we get back I have my follow up ultrasound to get the additional measurements so I will post some new pictures then!
