We have a 1 month old!

It's crazy, but Moira is already 1 month!  We can't believe it!  Tomorrow is our 1 month check up and the big weigh in.  No doubt Miss Moira has been gaining.. she's even got some rolls to show for it!  But, we're still in newborn clothes so I'm really interested to see what she is up to! 

Over the past couple weeks, we've been adjusting and getting more into the groove. (Getting into a groove hasn't really equalled any more sleep for Mommy and Daddy though!) Moira's met some friends, she experienced her first hay ride at the local farm, had Nana come visit for a few days, did some shopping and enjoyed the Labor Day festival in Newburyport and has had 2 visits to our local favorite restaurant, Casa Blanca.  And course lots of snuggle time with us!  I've been trying to get out of the house with her at least a few times a week!  She is starting to have more awake time, and we're anxious for that first real smile to hopefully come in the next few weeks!  Her head/neck are getting stronger each day.  Every day her looks are changing!  Sometimes she is more Mike, sometimes I see myself.  It's crazy!

That's about it on this front.  In the next few weeks we're expecting some other visitors who are planning some stop in's and we have a wedding coming up where she will get to meet many family members on the Murphy side of the family.  Poor Mike has been working like crazy, so we are hoping that will start dying down the next few weeks as well.  Fall is in the air, so we're planning to get out and partake in the all the fun fall first time parent festivities... apple picking, pumpkin picking, and something I've been dying to do- go to the Cranberry bogs!
