Hands are a pretty cool thing in this neck of the woods lately. Moira started really staring at those hands within the past couple weeks. Examining them, tasting them, exploring and grabbing! It's pretty neat to watch!
Hello Hand... I think I like you... you might come in pretty handy..
...you're tasty too!!
We also celebrated Moira's first Halloween... in the snow!! The neighborhood has a Halloween parade which took place last Sunday despite no power! Sue and Paul came up to see Moira all dressed up for the parade and then Dee headed up in the evening and we all had a nice Sunday dinner in the dark by candlelight! Quite an experience but fun none the less... Trick or treating was then postponed to this past Saturday. Mike had a nice firepit going and his parents were up visiting. We still had a pretty great turnout. Miss Moira unfortunately was a bit crabby so missed out on all the trick-or-treaters. Here's some pics of her in her costume from the day of the parade.
I can't believe its time to head back to work already! I start back on Weds and have verrrry mixed feelings about it all! Fortunately, we've decided that I will return at only 24 hours (2 days per week) so that we don't have to leave the pumpkin home too much! I love my career, but I guess I never thought I would love staying home with her so much!!!! We hired a babysitter to come to the house due to my irregular schedule and hours and she had her first trial day this past Saturday. All seemed to go well and I think we made the right choice!
That's about it on this front... Moira will be 3 months in just a couple days! I can't believe it! I'll post some of her 3 month photo shoot later this week!
