Moira and Baby Dube #2: 5 months and growing!

This little munchkin is growing like a weed! The rolls are coming in all sorts of places! Adorable rolls of course! She's just over 5 months and every day she is learning new tricks! She looooves her "razzing" aka blowing raspberries/sticking out her tongue. She just started jumping in her exersaucer and is loving life in that thing! She is very focused on holding things in her hand, she is perfecting her hold on toys and shaking rattles like crazy! Every day is just so exciting to see what she has up her sleeve next! She is still not a fan of her tummy time but is getting more tolerant, and rolling is still a work in progress. She's also working on her sitting.

She is expanding her menu! She looooves her food! Gotta feed those rolls! She loves oatmeal, apples, bananas, sweet potatoes and she is so-so about the avocado. She gets so excited as the spoon approaches!

Today, Moira and I started a mommy and baby fitness class that runs once a week for 8 weeks. The class kicked my butt, but it was a lot of fun! It's hard to work out with her, especially now that it's cold and walks are limited so this is a great way to get in some exercise. They incorporate the baby into the work out, lunges with a baby in tow... let me tell you! One of the moms from our playgroup came along with me and then another girl I recently met was there with some of their playgroup members so I think it will be a good way to meet some other moms! We were supposed to do a music class, but the night before it got cancelled!!!

In other exciting news, I will be reuniting with all my VILLANOVA ladies! and Kevin! this weekend for the Villanova-St. John's basketball game down at MSG in NYC! Can't wait to see the crew! pending I can navigate my way on the train by myself! Plus, mom always loved this game since St. Johns was her alma mater! Villanova isn't doing too hot this year so.... we'll see how it goes. Regardless, I'll get to see everyone so thats really what I am looking forward to. Mike will be on baby duty this weekend- he owed me a mommy weekend from his daddy trip down to philly in Novemeber :)

The last big thing around here is that we've sold my moms house in CT. It's bittersweet. We need to I know, but there are obviously a million emotions around this. We've had this house since I was one!!! I know my mom told us we need to just get rid of it, but that does not make it any easier. Moira and I along with my sisters and Bella will be heading down next Wed to be at the house through Monday to pack up- we close Jan 30th! Memere and Pepere will be doing some babysitting over the weekend days so we can get some packing done. I'll be sure to snap some photos of Moira in Nani's house before we say goodbye to 69 High Rock Rd!
