The Plan...

Well, it's August 9th and still no baby.  And yes.... I swear we have been doing tons of walking!!  The people on the street are starting to laugh at us!

So here's the plan:

Yesterday I went for an ultrasound just to make sure the fluid was ok and over all that she was looking ok... and Yes, we got 100% confirmation, she is still a girl!  They also told us her approximate weight which will be saved for when she actually arrives!  Otherwise, the ultrasound looked great.  Still head down, but she is facing up so we have to ask about that.  I also had a non-stress test which monitored the baby's heart rate and made sure that was all good.  This test is done by putting the fetal monitor on which also shows contractions, and as it turns out I had some contractions without even knowing it but nothing regular.  Everything looked good so we were sent home.  We had been told to bring our bags just in case.....

Tomorrow we will see the doctor and get checked again and from there, if she does not arrive before tomorrow mornings appt, we will decide when to get induced which he said will be up to us.  So possibly tomorrow or Thursday, or longer if I want to wait longer.  The good thing is that my doctor will be on-call Wed-Thurs, so thats a bonus.

So thats the plan...  apparently she is quite comfy in there, and we're trying to be patient but it's getting hard!  Everyday, it's like... is today gonna be the day?!?!!?
